PIERCE

and PARMENTER, others

We've transcribed, scanned and uploaded the family album!

Most of what we know about our PIERCE line, aside from what's in the album, comes from another work we inherited: Frederick Clifton Pierce's Pierce Genealogy no. IV, published in 1889. This volume is not always reliable, but it's given us some leads to work with; eventually we hope to confirm the descent of Gardner PIERCE (b. about 1800) of Steuben County, New York, from Captain Michael PIERCE (b. 1615) of Scituate, Massachusetts.

Allied lines include BROWNSON, KENYON.
