Adin Pierce and his wife, Estella Masten Pierce,
called Stella by all who knew her. She had lived near
Mt. Morris, entered Geneseo Normal School, but had to leave
after a short time because her father died, she was the oldest
child, and had to help run the farm.
Adin went to Rochester Business College and he
and Stella were married about 1895.
They had two children, Eudora and Lucille.
Adin brought his family to New York in 1901 and
soon afterwards he established what proved to be a very
successful fire-proofing business.
