Elizabeth Angell, commonly called Lizzie, a sister who was just three years older than your mother. She kept a diary in which she recorded among other things what she endured as a girl of ten when her mother's sister took over the family for one trying year.

She contracted typhoid while visiting her brother Ed in Rochester and died there about 1888.
